The new product of 2023 is microtech (Microtech Socom Alpha Alpha Special Forces Tactical Knife). When we hear the name Microtech, our first reaction may be to jump. The jump of Microtech has become the endorsement product of this brand.
But some people would also think that there are fixed blades in some series of Micro Technology products, such as SOCOM Alpha. SOCOM Alpha is the latest product in Microtech's SOCOM series.
It is a full-tang fixed blade derived from the Socom. It was originally only a custom version, but now Micro Technology is able to mass-produce the Alpha.
It reveals its shortcomings in the user's hand, whether it's the blade or the grip design of the knife.
To my surprise, I didn't see anyone having the knife slipping in their hands when holding it, which I expected was due to the user's inexperience and the narrow profile of the handle. There are some mistakes, which just proves the brilliance of Alfa's design.
Speaking of the handle, it uses the classic G10 patch handle, which comes with 17-4 PH stainless steel three-hole screws.
However, other features on this knife are more eye-catching. The thumb serrations run through the entire handle, adding texture, preventing the knife from slipping in the hand, and increasing the grip.

For those who like to decorate their knives, there is also a lanyard hole at the bottom of the knife.
Alfa uses a well-engineered carbon fiber lined Kydex sheath.
